Testimonial of Leah Hunter - Aged Horse

"Myself and my family have heard and read about your natural treatment for horses. We were wondering if you could help us out with a very wonderful , but aged horse. We own a paint gelding that is about 18 years old. He's recently stiffened up in his back legs due to arthritis. He walks and jogs quite well but the stiffness is very visible when he lopes. I don't know how much information you need so, here's a start.

We've been through a lot of different things before this as well. Three years ago, during the first winter we owned him, he suffered a chronic weight loss problem. We switched from oats to sweet feed and he began to regain his weight. We've also tried different things to try to stop his eyes from getting so red and to prevent him from losing small patches of his summer coat. "Max" also had a case of smegma which we treated by rinsing his sheath out with epsom salts. This spring he had surgery to remove a tumor from his sheath.

We now have him on 2 ice cream pails a day of senior horse feed, grass in summer and good hay in winter. His teeth have stopped growing and this feed seems to be the best thing we've found so far. "

February 2003 update

After a year and a half of herbal treatments, he is no longer stiff in his hind end which solved what was our main concern. Max walks, jogs, and lopes without any visible difficulties and he is happy to still be giving rides when he can.

In addition to the wonderful effects the herbs had on his ability to move, he also has a full, thick and shiny coat of hair. He is enjoying his senior years at a healthy weight and his illnesses seem to have subsided. Max still eats about a gallon of feed twice a day, but because of the herbs, his body is now using all the nutrients and vitamins he takes in. I can't imagine where we would be without the natural treatments you have provided for us. We feel that the herbs were the answer to our problems and the super effects are evident when you compare Max today to his former self.

Thanks again,

Leah
