June 26th Rodioso was High Point Again at the Whidbey Equestrian
Center's June show with a 75% at 4th level test 3.
On July 3 just north of Portland, Oregon. Letter Perfect Dressage.
He was Champion Stallion in the In-Hand with an 83 then he was awarded
Grand Champion and later came back to win the Oldenburg IBC with
a 82.9. William Solyntjes was the judge and gave him a '9' on walk
and a '9' on General Impression. This is Rodioso's third outing in
Sporthorse Breeding this year and he is qualified for the USDF Cosequin
in September with Region 6. He currently has an overall average of
81.71 which certainly puts him in the running for a Horse of the
Year award in sporthorse Breeding.
Rodioso High Point Again!
Rodioso was for the second time in three
weeks high point fourth level horse at the Whidbey Equestrian
Center's Spring Dressage show
with a very impressive score of 67.44%. William Solyntjes was the

Rodioso's Winning Streak Continues!
Rodioso was excellent at Dressage at Devonwood in 4th level July
21-23 with placings in all classes. Devonwood is an elegant dressage
show facility just south of Portland, Oregon. This past weekend,
July 29-31 we were showing at Donida Farm Dressage, another of
the Pacific Northwest's lovely facilities and he really kicked
out all the jams at this one. Four classes, four wins with scores
of 72.09% at 4-1 and then a score of 71.62% with a 9 on the extended
walk!!! The judge Jacqueline Lindberg voiced out of the box on
Friday afternoon, "Awesome!"
Cosequin/USDF Champion Stallion/Northwest Series/September 10, 2005
Rodioso was named the Champion Stallion at the Cosequin/USDF Northwest
Finals hosted by the Northwest Sporthorse Breeders Association year-end
show in Spanaway, Washington. Judges Hilda Gurney and Arlene Rigdon
gave him 8's across the board for conformation throughout the weekend.
He was also Best of Breed Champion and Open Show Champion Stallion.
Coupeville, WA April 2005
Rodioso shined in his Pacific Northwest debut at 4th level even though
the sun didn't. Deep footing and incessant rain didn't stop him from
being named 4th level HIGH POINT with a 64.186%. Judge Debbie Riehl-Rodriguez's
final comments included "elegant pair!"
Rodioso gained another HIGH POINT at the May WEC Dressage Show with
a very fine 4th level ride for judge William Solyntjes. He earned
a 67.442% with his trainer/rider and part owner Pamela Pentz and
the comment from the judge "attractive with great paces".
The gaits were awarded one of five "8's" in the test.
Rodioso showed lovely form at the Ft. Vancouver Breed Show in early
June by being named GRAND CHAMPION. He won the 4 year old and older
stallion class and then went on to be named Champion Stallion. He
then was called back and named Mature Horse Champion. He then capped
off the weekend by being named Grand Champion. His final score from
judge Cristel Carlson was a very impressive 82.25! Her comments included "lovely
dressage type stallion."
Rodioso was a big hit at the Beaujolais In-Hand Show. He brought
along four offspring of which three were called back to their Championship
rounds. He himself was named Champion Stallion and Champion Mature
Horse and Reserve Grand Champion. He capped off the following day
by placing second out of 15 horses in his 4th level class with an
impressive 65.58%.
Third time is often the charm, and Rodioso proved that right when
he was named HIGH POINT fourth level horse for the third time in
his 4 level test 3 debut. He turned in a stunning go and was rewarded
with a 75.43% from international judge Inez Propfe-Credo. The collective
marks at the bottom of the page were all "8's"!!!
Summer Classic, Auburn,WA
Rodioso continued his winning ways by getting two firsts and two
seconds out of four classes at fourth level at the lovely Donida
Farm venue, which hosted the Champagne classic. Judge Elizabeth Madlener
commented at the end of one of the winning rides "attractive
capable horse..."
Dressage at Devonwood, July 22-24/05 Sherwood, Oregon
Rodioso turned many heads at the elegant and very finely run Devonwood
Equestrian Center¹s summer show. Placing in all of his hotly
contested fourth level classes Anne Gribbons was charmed by the lovely
horse and placed him second on his final day with an '8' in a half-pass
and said "supple, well balanced."
July 29-31/05Donita Summer Dressage, Auburn WA
Rodioso won all of his classes with stunning scores at the lovely
Donida Farm show. Set against the backdrop of Mount Rainier the
shiny black stallion began the weekend with a 71.62% and came back
the following morning to get a 72.09%. Judge Jacqueline Lindberg
was so impressed with the flawless ride she exclaimed from the
judges box "awesome!" The weekend was very hot, but Rodioso
was "hot" too and continued with two more classes at
fourth level and won them both
