Born May 31, 2002 this elegant gelding by Oldenburg Stallion Rodioso (Rohdiamant) by Lorann (Lorbas) was presented to the German Oldenburg Verband this fall and received Premium Status. (branded). Rhodeo is out of the MMB G.O.V. approved Mare Lorann who's Hanoverian sire Lorbas (Lowenas / Lugano II / DerLoewe / Obermaat / Weiler) was a Silver Premium CSH Sire and Brickenden Performance Sire Award Winner who produced numerous Grand Prix Dressage Winners such as Louis L'Amour, Lara, Presto, Lohengrin II, Legend, Blonde Mischief, Coyote U, and Leahmar to name a few as well as many successful hunter/jumpers owned or shown by such notable riders as Laura Kraut, Anne Kurzinski, Leslie Howard, Mac Cone, Todd Minikus and Greg Prince. Lorann competed in Medium Dressage in Ontario until her retirement due to an arthritic knee and ankle in 1999. This is her third foal and her colt Reignmaker by DWB Eastern Ruler (G Ramiro Z) was 2001 Weanling Champion CWHBA Manitoba Foal Futurity (Tied). Rodioso, who carries the lines of Rohdiamant / Rubinstein I / Inschallah / Furioso II / Praefectus xx , was the 2001 Dressage at Devon Breeding Stallion Champion and Oldenburg Breed Champion and is currently competing in dressage in the USA under the reins of Janet Williams. His scores are in the low 70's and we are positive he will continue to move up the dressage ladder with Grand Prix in mind. For 2002, Rodioso is ranked 13th in the United States at First Level with a median score of 71.395%. Furthermore, he competed in his first FEI Test for 6 year old horses and won the class with a 68%. His father Rohdiamant, comes from a line of very successful Grand Prix Stallions known for their rideability, response and excellent work ethics for even the amateur rider. Rohdiamant is one of the leading young sire's of dressage horses in Europe. He has several licensed and approved sons and he has produced many top-selling auction horses for Hanoverians and Oldenburgs. He continues to achieve in the International Grand Prix dressage arena under the talented Lisa Wilcox with scores breaking the 70% mark and recently competed in the 2002 World Cup. Rubenstein I,

2002 World Equestian Games (Dressage): Relevant #5, Renoir #8,
and Robinson #42. The "R" line is Rodioso's dam Fantasie, is by the legendary stallion Furioso II, considered the stallion of the century, and one of the most well known stallions of all time.
